- What does your DJ name mean?
- It means i dj next door. It’s also a reference to the cartoon codename: kids next door.
- What is your relationship with the music that you play?
- Its usually whatever kind of music im listening to atm or a sound im trying to understand better.
- Why and how did you pick up DJ’ing?
- My friends in high school started djing so i just started with them. We played a radio show at stanford for a couple of years, which is where i really got my hours in.
- What is the best set you’ve ever seen?
- Idk about best, but i’m always really captured by sets that really try to be more. That sound pretentious, but really its just shows that have blown my socks off. Justice at coachella 2024 comes to mind; I think I was literally brought to my knees.
- Where do you find new music?
- Anywhere i can rabbithole. Youtube, bandcamp, soundcloud, spotify, more recently tiktok and IG. I’m sure it’s common but I like looking at what artists I like are listening to and just going from there. Fun fact, I found Porter’s personal spotify account and he had a playlist called “Shower” and it was filled with Hannah Montanna and Drake.
- What is an underrated genre in the current electronic music landscape?
- Medieval Rave Music. Half-joking, but more seriously I think progressive psytrance is underutilized
- What is the weirdest venue or gig you’ve spun?
- I spun an NDA-ed Tech party where I saw **** ****** rip a bump once

- Music for sleep deprived ADHD people.
